Weekly “5 Tips To Grow” #5 (3. Okt. 2016.)
Hello friends,
Here is your weekly “5 Tips To Grow” a list of what I’ve learned, experienced or enjoyed most this week.
What I’m reading:
This week I finished “Grooming the Next Generation for Success: Proven Strategies for Raising the Next Generation of Leaders” by Dani Johnson
Some parts were shocking, some eye-opening, but in general, everybody who has kids have to read this. I have 2 now, so this book came in perfect time for me.
What I’m listening / My favorite podcast:
Smart Passive Income by Pat Flynn and episode 228.
SPI 228: Taking Care of Yourself as an Entrepreneur with Jeff McMahon
In this episode, Pat explores one of the biggest things everybody should take into account when starting out: how important it is to take care of self. He interviewed his own trainer, Jeff McMahon. As a virtual trainer, Jeff coaches via video calls and text messages no matter where in the country his client happen to be.
What I’m writing / blog post of the week:
My featured blog post this week – 33 Best productivity apps and tools
On this list, you will find 33 best productivity apps and tools of all kind, including android and iOS applications, windows applications and desktop software even old techniques like ‘Pomodoro’.
What I’m thinking / Quote that made me think:
“Time is really the only capital that any human being has and the thing that he can least afford to waste or lose.” – Thomas A. Edison
What I’m doing / Productivity tip of the week:
Morning people tend to be more proactive, so
Wake up earlier.
– set your alarm to go off 5 minutes earlier each day
– move your alarm clock to get out of bed
– use natural light to wake up. Once out of bed, open the curtains immediately.
Bonus:
New song. 🙂 Yes, my band just released a new song. Hurray! 🙂 It is in my native language as all music what we do. But you can listen to it here:
