What I’ve enjoyed watching:
Last weeks I was inspiring from Gary Vaynerchuk, a serial entrepreneur, and the CEO and founder of VaynerMedia, a full-service digital agency servicing Fortune 500 clients across the company’s 5 locations. Gary is also a prolific public speaker, venture capitalist, 4-time New York Times Bestselling Author, and has been named to both Crain’s and Fortune’s 40 Under 40 lists
In this video, Gary Vaynerchuk talks about how highly successful people think, why most people let their ego stop them from achieving their goals and what it really takes to achieve success in life.

Yes, It’s All Your Fault: Active vs. Passive Mindsets — The hard truth is that most things in your life – good and bad – are your fault. The sooner you realize that the better things will be. Here’s how to cultivate an active mindset and take control of your life.
Decision making is a complex process — “Ignatius advises individuals to act on reason, feeling confident that they have invested their time and energy to make a good choice. But he also says that people should seek out additional information to see if reason confirms the choice. The emotions they feel following a decision, such as peace, freedom, joy, love or compassion, might give an indication if it is the right choice.”
What is Amazon — “Retail is my universe, and Amazon is my obsession. I’ve written this short book to summarize the mental model that this obsession has led me to … [I]n 2002, Jeff Bezos had the most important insight he would ever have: in the world of infinite shelf space – and platforms to fill them – the limiting reagent for Amazon’s growth would not be its website traffic, or its ability to fulfill orders or the number of SKUs available to sell; it would be its own bureaucracy.”
What I’m thinking about:
